Minutes of the Annual General Meeting

Held at Poyntington Village Hall at 7.30 p.m.  - Thursday 4th May 2006

Present: Councillors Mason, Mrs Dimond, Hunt, Kellaway, Mrs Oliver, Clerk Fraser, District Councillor Gould, 12 members of the public.

1. Councillor Mason was elected Chairman and signed a Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

2. Councillor Hunt was elected Vice-Chairman and signed a Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

3. Apologies for absence were received from: Cllr Buckland

4. The minutes of the last AGM were accepted. There were no matters arising.

5. The Chairman’s report was received and is attached.  {click here ... }

6. The draft accounts for 2005-06 were accepted and signed by the Chairman and clerk.

7. It was resolved to renew membership of DAPTC.

8. The following members were elected to represent the council at the DAPTC Central Area Committee: Cllrs Mason & Mrs Oliver.

9. The schedule of dates for Council meetings for 2006/2007 was approved:

• Thursday 6th July 2006 at Oborne
• Thursday 7th September 2006 at Poyntington
• Thursday 2nd November 2006 at Oborne
• Thursday 4th January 2007 at Poyntington
• Thursday 1st March 2007 at Oborne
• Thursday 12th May 2007 at Oborne (including AGM)
