Yeohead & Castleton Parish Council

Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held at Poyntington Village Hall at 7.30p.m.

Thursday 6th May 2004

Present: Councillors Sherburn, Buckland, Dimond, Mason, Oliver, Clerk Fraser, 5 members of the public.

1. Councillor Sherburn was elected Chairman and signed a Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

2. Councillor Mason was elected Vice-Chairman and signed a Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

3. Councillor Fry submitted his resignation from the council. The clerk would inform WDDC and set in motion the procedures for electing or co-opting a replacement. Council expressed its sadness at Cllr Fry’s resignation and acknowledged the value of his contributions to its affairs.

4. Code of Conduct: All councillors signed their Declaration of Acceptance of Office forms.

5. Apologies for absence were received from: Cllr P. Fry & WDDC Cllr R. Gould.

6. The minutes of the last AGM were accepted. There were no matters arising.

7. The Chairman’s report was received and is attached.

8. The accounts for 2003-04 were accepted and signed.

9. It was decided to renew membership of DAPTC.

10. The schedule of dates for Council meetings for 2004/2005 was approved:

Thursday 1^st July 2004 at Oborne

Thursday 2^nd September 2004 at Poyntington

Thursday 4^th November 2004 at Oborne

Thursday 6^th January 2005 at Poyntington

Thursday 3^rd March 2005 at Oborne

Thursday 5^th May 2005 at Poyntington (including AGM)
