Update: Matter with solicitors may not be progressed this financial

draw up a policy statement on travel allowances payable to councillors at
30 pence per mile. To be added to Standing Orders papers. (Minute

Poyntington Village Hall £15.00. |

The Chairman reported on the DAPTC Central
Area Committee meeting on 11 November 2003

The list of other
correspondence received by Clerk was noted. Chairman drew attention to
list of DAPTC courses for 2004 and asked members to consider which ones
they might wish to attend. Clerk congratulated on Certificate of
Achievement on SLCC Working with your Council course Council needs to
decide if it wishes to seek Quality Parish Council status; if so, clerk
will need to assemble a portfolio for accreditation by AQA (total cost
with courses attended in region of £100) |

Oliver raised issue of two recent accidents in Oborne-Poyntington lane.
The clerk was asked to write to K. Cheleda at DCC to explain strength of
local concerns and request advice on possible action.
